You SHOULD charge more

I think your coaching SHOULD start at $5000 for your group coaching and $10,000 - $15,000+ for your 1-1 as a minimum....

Not the first time I've heard that.

Someone suggested I should create an $18,000+ program once.

I was flattered, but it felt 'too big' and my self-doubt kicked in and I immediately dismissed it.

She persisted with this narrative for some time, so it wasn't an off the cuff comment.

For context, I have sold 1-1 coaching for $15k through a google doc.

I still remember when the wire transfer landed.

I was kind of mind-blown, but given my tenure in this game, I was both surprised, yet I chose to normalise it.

There are a few lessons in this;

- If you have a level of expertise in something, don't be afraid to charge for it...

Actually, it's ok to be afraid to charge for it, but hold the conviction even when it doesn't immediately convert.

Just make sure it's a great offer and you can get great results.

Don't be like so many folks out there who will just read this and go 'I should charge more cos JG sed so.'

No, you should charge in alignment with the changes you can bring to your clients.

- Like so many things in life, you'll never feel truly ready. It's about having the courage to pursue what you want and not let your old fear-based thinking stop you from doing so...

Why then, do I not charge more?
